CJD Equipment is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to join our team in Kalgoorlie. Working with globally recognised Volvo Construction Equipment, this is an exciting opportunity to be part of a team that values quality, safety, and innovation.
What We're Looking For:
To succeed in this role, you'll need strong diagnostic and technical skills, the ability to work independently, and a customer-focused mindset. Your responsibilities will include fault finding, repairs, and servicing of Volvo Construction Equipment at customer sites.
Key Requirements:
* Trade qualified Plant Mechanic or HD Mechanic (Cert III Plant Mechanic AUR31220 or equivalent)
* Solid experience working with heavy earthmoving equipment, particularly Volvo CE
* Proficient in diagnostic software and troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults
* Skilled in interpreting computer-based diagnostic systems and parts catalogues
* Strong knowledge of hydraulic circuits and electrical systems
* HR Licence (preferred, or willingness to obtain – assistance available for the right candidate)
* Ability to travel to regional areas as required
* Excellent understanding of safe work practices and compliance with WHS standards
