NORSTA Maritime, a dynamic and collaborative organization, seeks a Financial Officer to ensure accurate and efficient recording of financial information in our accounting system. This role assists in the preparation of financial statements and associated reporting, performing accounts payable tasks, raising purchase orders, making general ledger entries, recording payments, and adjustments.
Responsibilities include:
 * Accounts Payable functions
 * Reconciling the General Ledger
 * Processing payments and handling daily banking activities
 * Payroll processing
 * Identifying data irregularities to Financial Controller/Accountant
 * Reconciling supplier accounts and handling queries
 * Expense review and analysis
Required Skills and Qualifications:
 * Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Business/Business Administration (desirable)
 * Extensive administration and support services background
 * High proficiency in accounting systems (SAP-B1 is desirable but not mandatory)
 * Excellent logic and numeracy skills
 * Excellent attention to detail
 * Good interpersonal skills
