This role sits at the heart of the product engine – connecting design vision, fabric innovation, and global manufacturing capability.
You will be responsible for building and optimising the brand's global supplier and mill network, ensuring factories consistently deliver on quality, speed, sustainability, and commercial performance.
Working closely with Design, Product Development, Production, and Sustainability, you will play a key role in enabling the brand to continue launching highly sought-after collections at speed while maintaining premium product standards.
What You'll Be Responsible For
Global Sourcing Strategy
* Develop and implement a sourcing strategy that supports rapid global growth
* Diversify and strengthen the global factory base across multiple product categories
* Build long-term partnerships with leading manufacturers and mills
Fabric & Material Innovation
* Lead the sourcing of fabrics and materials that deliver the brand's signature look and feel
* Build a core fabric library that balances innovation, quality, and cost efficiency
* Work closely with mills to develop exclusive fabrications
Supplier Development
* Identify and onboard high-performing factories across global manufacturing hubs
* Maintain a tiered supplier matrix based on capability, compliance, and performance
* Continuously build a pipeline of new suppliers to support growth and reduce risk
Quality & Product Integrity
* Implement sourcing standards that elevate product quality and consistency
* Work with suppliers to drive continuous improvement across construction, finishing, and materials
* Lead corrective action and root cause analysis when quality issues arise
Commercial Outcomes
* Negotiate pricing, MOQs, and supplier terms to protect margins
* Drive cost transparency across fabrics and production inputs
* Identify sourcing efficiencies without compromising quality
Speed to Market
* Partner with product teams to translate design briefs into production-ready fabrics quickly
* Improve sampling efficiency and protect critical path timelines
Sustainability
* Support the brand's progress toward more responsible sourcing practices
* Work with suppliers to meet ethical compliance and sustainability standards
* Introduce innovative materials and circular sourcing opportunities
What We're Looking For
* Significant experience in fashion sourcing, supplier development, or fabric sourcing
* Background working with global fashion brands known for strong product and rapid growth
* Deep knowledge of fabrics, mills, and apparel manufacturing
* Strong commercial negotiation skills
* Experience working cross-functionally with design and product teams
* Strong supplier relationship management capabilities
* A proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate sourcing risks
