The Role
We are seeking a motivated and experienced
Clinical Lead – Orthopaedics
to join the Department of Health (DoH) in Tasmania's North West.
In this leadership role, you will:
Work with the
Clinical Director – Surgical & Perioperative
to provide strategic direction and high-level leadership.
Deliver specialist orthopaedic care at
North West Regional Hospital (Burnie)
and
Mersey Community Hospital (Latrobe)
.
Contribute to service development, integration, and resource optimisation.
Provide leadership for the
Undergraduate General Medical Education Program
through close ties with the University of Tasmania's Rural Clinical School.
Support and guide a team of registrars and junior medical officers within a collaborative and dynamic environment.
Eligibility
Specialist or limited registration with the
Medical Board of Australia
in Orthopaedics.
Demonstrated leadership experience and commitment to clinical quality improvement.
A collaborative, patient-focused approach with enthusiasm for teaching and service development.
