We are looking for someone with 3 months or more experience in a similar role to join the Silverchain team in the Thrumster NSW 2444 area.

What We’re Looking For
- Enjoy having variety in their day
- Are passionate about providing an excellent service
- Can build positive relationships with clients and their families
- Can stay calm when clients are having a bad day or when delays occur, and reset quickly
- Are comfortable working independently and finding solutions to everyday problems, knowing when to ask your manager for help
- A valid Australian Driver\'s Licence & your own insured, roadworthy vehicle
- Experience of 3 months or more in a similar role
The role
In the role of Home Care Worker, you will provide our aged care clients with home help services and personal care services as outlined below.
- General housekeeping and making beds
- Cleaning, mopping and vacuuming floors
- Washing, folding and ironing laundry
- Meal preparation and grocery shopping
- Getting clients out of bed, showered and dressed for the day
- Assisting with mobility and therapy goals
- Providing complex care for customers with high care needs, such as dementia
- Providing social and emotional support
- Providing the client with transport to lifestyle activities or appointments
- Helping the family carer to have a break or an opportunity to do other things
