Client Details Our client is a highly regarded public hospital in Victoria with over 2500 employees across corporate, clinical, hospital and medical staff. With a long history of delivering exceptional patient care, they're recognised as one of Australia's most trusted health providers. Description You'll lead a payroll team and take ownership of a high volume, end‑to‑end weekly payroll for corporate and clinical staff. You will also: Ensure compliance with relevant awards, EBAs and legislation Manage termination payments, audits, reporting and reconciliations Lead, support and develop a stable payroll team Identify and implement process improvements to drive efficiency Partner with HR, Finance and operational stakeholders to resolve payroll queries and strengthen payroll governance Profile To be successful you will bring: Demonstrated experience managing large, complex payrolls Experience in the Victorian health or hospital sector (highly desirable) Chris21 or iChris experience (strongly preferred) Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle payroll queries Proven ability to deliver process improvements Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and leadership capability Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Job Offer Immediate start Temp to perm conversion for the right person Flexible, hybrid work model Be part of meaningful work that directly benefits the Victorian community If you're an experienced Payroll Manager with strong technical depth and leadership capability, we'd love to hear from you.
