What does the job look like?
As the Commercial Analyst, you will be responsible for compiling financial information supporting customer activities. You will challenge your financial and quantitative reporting skills and provide support to key weekly and monthly reporting cycles.
- As a key member of this high performing team of commercial specialists, you will be well positioned to learn and perform ad hoc analysis of financial reporting and support the wider team in recent business tenders and renewals. We strive to make a true impact on our customers through the delivery of productive logistics solutions.
Key areas:
- Prepare monthly invoices for key customers.
- Identify and implement business improvement initiatives.
- Manage and track the performance of key contracts through analysis and review of financial reports.
- Partner with commercial and finance peers to understand the drivers of financial results and their impact on continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide financial advice, assistance and input to business queries.
- Support site and group level operations teams to ensure consistency and financial integrity.
Are you the one?
You are an Accounting and Finance professional looking to cultivate a successful career within the Commercial space. You have a passion for analysis and transforming numbers into actionable, commercially focused insights. You are an effective communicator and have an ability to manage diverse relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
You can demonstrate:
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business or related field.
- CA, CFA, CPA Qualified or in the process of completing units.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in mid to high tier consultancy firms highly desirable.
- Ability to analyse and interpret financial information with a high level of accuracy.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to consult with a variety of stakeholders.
- Experience working various clients and industry types.
