We are currently seeking a Project Engineer to join our team based in Tivendale, Northern Territory. Ideally, this role would be suited to candidates with exposure across asphalt, spray sealing or civil road construction environments. This is a unique opportunity for a motivated Engineer to learn all aspects of our operations and work within a driven and enthusiastic team.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate project delivery.
* Assist with tender handover, planning and contract and risk management and project close out.
* Ensure compliance with safety, quality and environmental standards.
* Prepare and submit progress claims and invoices.
* Engage and manage subcontractors and suppliers.
* Foster strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
* Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
About You
* Tertiary Qualifications in Civil Engineering.
* Exposure to civil road construction or an asphalt environment would be highly advantageous.
* Proven ability to manage and monitor projects against time, cost, quality and safety requirements.
* An understanding of planning, execution and reporting of projects.
* An understanding of project management as well as engineering principles and construction methods.
* A successful track record of proactively building relationships with key clients, stakeholders and developing new business opportunities.
* Strong safety focus with demonstrated evidence of actively promoting and sustaining a Zero Harm environment.
