About the Community Engagement Role
Are you a passionate and experienced professional looking to make a meaningful impact in a regional contaminated site remediation project? We are seeking a Community and Stakeholder Engagement Manager to develop and execute a comprehensive community engagement strategy, fostering strong relationships with stakeholders and ensuring transparent communication with the public and regulatory bodies.
This role involves working closely with internal teams and external partners to proactively manage community enquiries, minimise project impacts, and represent the project at public forums and community meetings. As a Community and Stakeholder Engagement Manager, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with our team to achieve project goals and contribute to environmental remediation and community wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute a comprehensive community engagement strategy.
* Foster strong relationships with stakeholders and ensure transparent communication.
* Proactively manage community enquiries and minimise project impacts.
* Represent the project at public forums and community meetings.
About You:
We are looking for a confident communicator and relationship builder with a strong background in stakeholder engagement. The ideal candidate will bring:
* A degree in Communications or a related field.
* At least 5 years' experience in stakeholder engagement.
* IAP2 Certificate in Public Participation (preferred).
* Strong skills in communication, data analysis, and change management.
* A proactive, community-focused mindset and the ability to manage sensitive issues with professionalism.
