As a senior operational leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the performance of our Newcastle branch.
About this role
* You will lead a team of 5 direct reports and 25-30 indirect reports to achieve key business objectives.
* Your primary focus will be on delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring operational efficiency, safety, and compliance.
Key responsibilities
1. Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
2. Work closely with regional teams to drive continuous improvement and manage revenue streams.
3. Analyse operational performance and implement effective solutions to improve efficiency and productivity.
Requirements
1. Strong leadership experience in a customer-facing or operations management role.
2. Background in earthmoving, mining, or construction industries.
3. Excellent financial management skills, including P&L and expense budgeting.
4. Able to communicate effectively at all levels and influence stakeholder decisions.
5. Strong understanding of safety protocols and risk management principles.
6. Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems such as SAP or Dynamics AX.
