Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Cyber Security Risk Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in evaluating the effectiveness of security controls and ensuring compliance with relevant frameworks.
Your primary responsibilities will include conducting security audits, maintaining accreditation documentation, and developing high-quality artefacts in a timely manner. You will also apply cyber security governance, risk, and compliance principles in practice, including preparation of risk registers and security plans.
Key Responsibilities
1. Evaluate security controls against Australian Government ISM, Essential Eight, Cyberworthiness, NIST, and other approved frameworks.
2. Conduct security, gap, and compliance audits, including reporting and documentation management.
3. Maintain and update accreditation documentation sets for each environment.
4. Develop high-quality artefacts, including risk assessments and compliance reports.
5. Apply cyber security governance, risk, and compliance principles.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* Demonstrated customer focus and motivation to deliver outcomes aligned with customer mission needs.
* Over two years' experience in Cybersecurity GRC, audit, risk, or compliance roles, with proven ability to produce high-quality security assessment documentation.
* Familiarity with risk management frameworks, including ISO 27001, FAIR, OCTAVE, and NIST RMF, and holding certifications such as CRISC, CISM, CISA, CISSP, or ISO 27001.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with strong attention to detail and sound organisational abilities.
* Experience working with Defence is desirable.
