About the role
As a Case Worker, you will provide direct services to a case load of clients, which can include a range of services and activities with clients under limited supervision either individually or as part of a team. This may include crisis intervention, and other supportive interventions. This may include support and guidance to clients in navigating various systems and accessing needed resources. Case workers maintain accurate records of client interactions and service provision, ensuring that information is up-to-date and accessible through Anglicare North Queensland systems. Through this, your role will contribute to case planning and may result in advocacy and/or referrals to specialists or other agencies for specific services, depending on the client's needs.
Position Responsibilities:
* Undertake work of moderate scope and complexity, ensuring efficient service delivery and compliance with policies.
* Perform duties of a specialised nature requiring the development of expertise over time or previous knowledge.
* Develop work plans and set outcomes aligned to the objectives of the organisation and within budgetary constraints.
* Contribute to a wide range of activities associated with program or service delivery.
To Be Successful You Will Need
* Proven case management experience using a holistic and client centered approach to managing your case load.
* Extensive experience working in government funded programs with strict budgetary and contractual requirements of service.
* Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including government bodies, community organisations, and other service providers to provide efficient and effective services to clients.
* Knowledge of organisational programs, policies and operations.
* Industry relevant qualifications or relevant industry experience.
* Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, families and communities will be highly regarded
* Experience working with people from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds will be highly regarded
Compliance
* A current QLD Drivers Licence 'Class C' or interstate equivalent.
* Blue Card (Working with children card)
* A current national police check (within the last 3 months)
* Current First Aid & CPR certificate
* Current LCS2 check, (Child Safety and Personal History Screening Check)
