About The Role
A member of the Executive team, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the financial operations for two organisations, Nextt & Lizard, ensuring robust financial control, compliance, and reporting across all business units. This role plays a critical part in strategic financial planning, risk management, and supporting executive leadership in achieving financial objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Responsible for leading the finance function with responsibility for all financial and group reporting.
* Enforce strong financial internal controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
* Manage financial risks and lead on the commercial risk management framework.
* Focus on streamlining processes and strengthening controls.
* Manage and ensure the efficiency of all the non-labour related costs of the business (opex).
* Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, developing financial models to support business planning and investment decisions.
About You
The Role Suits a Finance Expert Who Is Driven To Achieve Strategic Business Objectives. You’ll Join a Highly Knowledgeable Executive Leadership Team, Bringing Forth Ideas, Experience And Knowledge. We Are Seeking Someone Who Has:
* Extensive experience in financial management, accounting, and leadership roles.
* Strong knowledge of financial regulations, compliance, and risk management.
* Proven ability to drive financial performance and support strategic decision-making.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* Leadership experience with the ability to inspire and develop a finance team.
You will possess:
* NDIS or a related industry experience essential.
* Minimum of bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field (essential).
* Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification (essential).
