ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Financial Controller, you will play a critical leadership role in overseeing the financial operations, reporting and governance across the business. Reporting to the CFO, you will act as a trusted partner to senior leadership, providing accurate financial insights, strengthening controls and supporting strategic decision-making.
This role combines strong technical accounting expertise with commercial acumen, requiring a hands‐on approach to managing financial reporting, compliance, and team leadership. You will also drive continuous improvement across systems, processes and reporting to support business growth and scalability.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Oversee monthly financial reporting and executive reporting packs
* Ensure accuracy of management accounts, statutory reporting and tax compliance
* Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning
* Provide financial insights and support commercial decision‐making
* Manage treasury, cash flow and financial risk
* Lead and develop the finance team
ABOUT YOU
* CA/CPA qualified (7+ years post qualification)
* Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role
* Strong technical accounting expertise
* Retail or multi‐site experience desirable
* Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
