Product Management Role
We are seeking a skilled Product Manager to join our team. As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing plans and promotional programs for our hip portfolio.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in field sales and marketing, preferably in the orthopaedics sector. A tertiary qualification in Science, Engineering, Nursing or Commerce is required, as well as relevant postgraduate business qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute annual marketing plans for the Hip product portfolio.
* Implement and review marketing plans and promotional campaigns for the hip portfolio with agreed timeframes.
* Determine hip portfolio pricing through public sectors with tendering and market share deals.
* Prepare hip product launches to drive utilization of new products in the market.
Sales Achievement and Expense Control
The successful candidate will also be responsible for monitoring sales, expenses and market share of hip products. This includes preparing and managing expense budgets to meet objectives and strategies, ensuring timely and accurate forecasts for hip products for inventory management, and providing regular financial projections for the hip portfolio as requested.
Field Sales Support
You will provide field support to the sales force in areas of product knowledge, technique, operational planning and other areas as required. This includes responding to customer and sales force requests with high urgency, coordinating supply and provision of sales support items, working proactively with Operations and other business teams to solve problems as they may arise, and attending hip cases and in-field support with sales team.
Your Background
A tertiary qualification in Science, Engineering, Nursing or Commerce, or equivalent work experience is essential. Previous field sales/marketing experience, ideally in orthopaedics and with knowledge of this segment, is preferred. Relevant postgraduate business qualifications, such as a Grad Diploma or MBA, are advantageous.
Travel Expectations
This role requires travel to locations across Australia and New Zealand as required.
