The role involves analysing financial information and preparing reports to determine assets, liabilities, profit, and loss for clients. You will also prepare income tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships, and individuals.
* Key responsibilities:
* Prepare clear and concise work papers as evidence of work performed;
* Apply knowledge of the business environment to provide advice on client positioning;
* Assist colleagues with work and act as a mentor/buddy;
* Prepare financial statements in accordance with all current, legal, and accounting reporting standards;
* Provide advice on various tax matters including GST, capital gains tax, and fringe benefits tax; and
* Provide general business advisory advice and support to a wide range of client groups.
