As Head of Department - Senior School, you will provide strategic and instructional leadership across Years 11 and 12, with a key focus on Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE) delivery, compliance and student management.
You will work collaboratively with the leadership team to ensure high‐quality senior pathways, strong student outcomes and effective wellbeing and engagement practices.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead QCE and senior assessment processes, ensuring compliance with QCAA requirements
* Oversee student management for Years 11 and 12, including attendance, engagement, behaviour support and wellbeing processes
* Use data to monitor student progress, identify risk and implement targeted interventions
* Collaborate with guidance officers, year level leaders and external agencies to support diverse student pathways
* Contribute to whole‐school planning, policy development and continuous improvement
* Engage effectively with parents and caregivers regarding senior schooling and student progress
