This is a full-time, autonomous role focused on generating new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and securing long-term service contracts across commercial, industrial and government sectors. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience in business development - preferably within cleaning, facilities management or service-based industries - and understands how to build pipeline, convert opportunities and maintain professional client engagement. Key Responsibilities * Identify and pursue new business opportunities across Canberra * Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline * Conduct client meetings, site visits and presentations * Prepare proposals, quotes and tender submissions * Negotiate contracts and close deals * Build long-term relationships with commercial clients * Work closely with operations to ensure smooth onboarding of new contracts * Meet and exceed revenue and growth targets Skills & Experience Essential * Minimum 2 years' experience in Business Development or Sales * Strong communication and negotiation skills * Proven ability to generate leads and close new business * Self-motivated and results-driven * Current Driver's Licence * Based in Canberra or surrounding region Highly Regarded * Experience in cleaning services, facilities management or service-based industries * Experience tendering for commercial or government contracts * Existing local network within ACT Benefits & Perks * $80,000 - $110,000 super (depending on experience) * Company vehicle fuel card * Mobile phone & uniform provided * Full-time permanent role * Strong local growth opportunity * Autonomous position with leadership support About the company The employer is a growing Canberra-based facilities services business delivering professional cleaning solutions across commercial and industrial environments.
