About the role We're looking for a motivated and proactive Operational Technology Technician to join our team, supporting the installation and ongoing maintenance of Collision Avoidance Systems (CAS) across our mining fleet.

Key Responsibilities Install, commission and maintain Collision Avoidance Systems on mobile mining equipment Assist with maintenance across the broader mine OT and backhaul network Carry out inspections, diagnostics, and repairs during machine overhauls Perform system upgrades, firmware updates, and configuration changes as required Develop strong working relationships with equipment OEMs and technology providers to support smooth integration and performance of CAS technology Summary of what's on offer Permanent role Dayshift Lifestyle roster A commitment to training and career development About you Cert III in Telecommunications, Electrotechnology, Electronics or Auto electrical Certificate of Proficiency - in Telecommunications, Electrotechnology, Electronics or Auto Electrical (desired) Driver's license Experience working in an open cut mining environment Knowledge and demonstrated experience of Network maintenance, Fleet Management System (FMS), Collison Avoidance and other smart machine system Good knowledge of the following is highly desirable: Experience installing, commissioning, or maintaining CAS hardware and software Understanding of proximity detection, GNSS-based positioning, and machine-to-machine communication Ability to diagnose system faults, analyse logs, and perform system updates
