We are seeking a friendly and customer-focused Casual Optical Assistant to join our team at Fitzpatrick Family Optometrists in Maroochydore, QLD. As a Casual Optical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and supporting the day-to-day operations of our busy optometry practice.
What you'll be doing
* Greeting and welcoming customers in a friendly and professional manner
* Assisting customers with frame selection and providing advice on lens options
* Processing sales transactions and handling cash and card payments
* Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
* Restocking and organising optical display areas
What we're looking for
* Previous experience in a customer service or retail role, preferably within the optical or medical industry
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with customers
* A keen eye for detail and the ability to work efficiently and accurately
* Great computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems
* A positive, friendly, and enthusiastic attitude
