Details: Do you enjoy a challenge and want to be part of a high performing team that tackles complex tax and economic policy issues head on?
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person with a strong skillset to join our Revenue and Concessions Policy team in Treasury.
The role will support the delivery of key government priorities and commitments in the lead up to the ACT Budget, including the ACT tax reform program, revenue related election commitments, and optimising the lease variation charge to support the delivery of additional new housing. Familiarity with these topics and related policy considerations would be advantageous.

Eligibility/Other requirements:
The following qualifications are highly desirable:
* Economics or a relevant tertiary degree qualification in a similar field; and
* Experience in R or similar statistical software.
Notes: This is a temporary position available immediately until 30 June 2026 with the possibility of extension up to six months.
A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months. Selection may be based on application and referee reports only.
