Join a team of skilled technicians in the repair and maintenance of heavy vehicles. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for ensuring that our fleet is safe and reliable for public transportation.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Talent Requirements:
* Current NSW MVTC Motor Mechanic trade certificate (essential) + TAFE Cert III Heavy Vehicle Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology
* Current HR drivers license (or ability to obtain)
* Computer literacy for accurate maintenance record keeping
* Capability to supervise and assist in training apprentices and trade assistants
* Experience with scan tools (desirable)
* Experience in bus maintenance and public transport operations (desirable)

Hours of Work:
After an initial training period on day shift, you will commence a 2-week rotating roster which includes work on Saturdays and Sundays.
Day shift: 6am-2.30pm
Mid shift: 10.30am-7pm (15% shift allowance is payable for the entire shift)
Afternoon shift: 2.30pm-11pm (15% shift allowance is payable for the entire shift)

Waverley (approx. 600 metre walk from Bondi Junction train station)
Randwick (site parking available and close to Light Rail stop)
