* 12 month Fixed term role until July 2026

* Base Salary $156,277 + 17% superannuation
About the opportunity
The Student Centre team delivers expert operational support, enabling high-quality student experiences and effective stakeholder engagement across the University.
We are seeking a dynamic and student experience focused Operations Manager, Student Centre to lead operational support across a diverse and fast-paced portfolio. In this leadership role, you will work closely with the Senior Manager and Portfolio Director to drive excellent student centric service, operational efficiency, and the successful implementation of key initiatives.
With a strong focus on leadership, student experience and a service delivery mindset, you will inspire high-performing teams, and ensure excellence in governance, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
* oversee the delivery of face-to-face services to students
* work closely with the Senior Manager, Director, faculties and professional service units across the University
* lead implementation of business plans and operational activities to meet strategic objectives
* oversee workforce planning, performance management, and staff development
* establish and maintain effective governance, compliance, and risk frameworks
* drive operational excellence through systems, process improvement and stakeholder engagement
About you
* extensive experience in senior operational management, including leading high-performing teams
* strong business acumen with a track record of implementing governance and risk frameworks
* experience managing HR processes including workforce planning, development, and performance
* proven ability to influence and partner with senior stakeholders across complex organisations
* ability to lead and mentor a team of face-to-face student support staff
* relevant tertiary qualifications in business, management or a related field.
