Community Nursing SA is seeking experienced Disability Support Workers to join the growing team of individuals passionate for providing high-quality support to clients of varying age, gender, cultural background and of differing physical and intellectual disability.
Experience in Community participation will be prioritised. We have certain highly challenged clients who will require experienced and highly professional support workers.
Your role will include but is not limited to:
- Understanding of the NDIS Code of Conduct, Incident Management and Quality and Safeguards practice standards;
- Creating a positive client experience and adhering to NDIS compliance requirements.
- Handling client issues to ensure they are managed in a timely and professional manner.
- Perform direct care duties for individual participants as specified in the Personal Care Profile including (but not limited to): showering/bathing, dressing/grooming, toileting, preparing meals, assisting participants to eat their meal, provide participant with additional support when required.
- Documentation (case noting after shifts).
- Must be available for regular morning, afternoon, evening, and passive/active overnight shifts across a 7-day roster.
