About the Role

You will be working at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPAH). It is one of the nation's most respected hospitals, with a distinguished history of serving the health needs of local, statewide, national and international communities. Our facilities and services are world class and our staff are dedicated, innovative and caring.

The primary purpose of the position is to provide high level, comprehensive operational support to the Royal Prince Alfred (RPA) Anaesthetic Department. The position will work in partnership with the Head of Department, as well as senior consultants in the anaesthetic department, Nurse Unit Manager of Operating Theatres and RPA Medical Training Administrative Unit, to improve communication, coordination and prioritisation of human and other resources, to ensure the smooth running of the RPA Anaesthetic Department and staffing of operating theatre lists.

Ideal Candidate

* Ability to perform a range of management and administrative tasks, including experience working in a health environment and with NSW Health systems (e.g. Healthroster, Stafflink, vMoney).
* Ability to work in a high-volume demanding environment, with proven capacity to organise workload with completing priorities within tight timeframes.
* High level interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with proven ability to work in partnership with junior and senior medical officers.
