The Role
As an Accountant/Business Advisor, you'll go beyond traditional accounting. You'll partner with business owners to help them understand their numbers, improve profitability, and build scalable financial systems.
What You'll Be Doing
* Preparing financial statements, tax returns, and compliance work
* Conducting business health audits and financial analysis
* Helping clients with cash flow forecasting, KPI monitoring, and strategic planning
* Advising on profit improvement strategies, business systems, and exit planning
* Supporting businesses with HR, sales, and marketing strategies where needed
What We're Looking For
* CPA or CA qualified (or working towards it) OR studying towards a qualification with experience working in a family business or business environment
* Experience in business advisory, management accounting, or tax compliance
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide strategic advice
* A proactive, client-focused mindset—able to build strong relationships with business owners
* Familiarity with Xero, MYOB, or other cloud-based accounting software
