Injury Management Senior Nurse or Injury Management Senior Paramedic
In this role, you will provide immediate medical assistance during emergencies, while stabilising patients and coordinating with emergency services as needed. You will also conduct routine health checks, monitor chronic conditions, manage the on-site medical clinic, maintain compliant medical supplies and equipment, promote worker health and well-being, ensure adherence to workplace health and safety legislation, and prepare accurate reports and incident documentation.
Key Responsibilities Include:
* Manage rehabilitation and return to work in accordance with legislative requirements
* Coordinate external providers
* Manage site clinic including coverage, communication, community requirements
* Manage medicine security, stocktakes, legislative requirements
* Audit and review processes and procedures that relate to all aspects of clinic operations
* Promote health and wellbeing for site personnel and champion health and wellbeing initiatives
* Prepare reports and correspondence as required
* Ensure compliance with WHS legislation and Ravenswood Gold policies
* Ensure Occupational Health Monitoring is completed in line with legislative requirements
* Ensure staff compliance requirements and training are met
About You:
* Experience in Emergency and Remote Critical Care Settings
* Prior mine site experience
* Experience using clinical and safety management software
* Computer literacy
* Bachelor of nursing (or equivalent) or Degree in Paramedicine (or equivalent)
* Qld Rehabilitation and return to work Worksafe approved training
* Current and unrestricted AHPRA registration
* Advanced Life Support (ALS1/ALS2)
* HLTAID014 Provide Advanced First Aid
* HLTAID015 Provide Advanced Resuscitation and Oxygen Therapy
* HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary resuscitation
* HLTPAT005 Collect Specimens for Drugs of Abuse Testing
* QLD Manual Drivers Licence
* Intravenous Cannulation Competent
* PHERT/PHTLS or REC course
* Blue Card
