What You Will Be Doing
As a Pathology Collector (Phlebotomist), you will collect blood and other specimen samples from patients, ensuring quality patient care and excellent customer service.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Collect samples (blood and non‐blood) with care and attention.
* Keep meticulous records for every patient and sample.
* Deliver documentation within strict turnaround times.
* Prepare and package specimens for transport and testing.
* Liaise with customers, clinic staff and couriers.
What Type of Person Will Be Successful
Ideal candidates are experienced Pathology Collectors, holders of a Certificate III in Pathology Collection, or Registered Nurses seeking regular daytime shifts. We also welcome individuals with customer‐service experience and no prior pathology background; training and mentoring are provided.
Attributes & Skills
* Demonstrated experience or knowledge in Phlebotomy/Certificate III in Pathology Collection or a healthcare background.
* Excellent customer‐service and communication skills with a high level of empathy.
* Organised with strong time‐management and attention to detail.
* Ability to work autonomously, often independently in a solo clinic.
* Valid driver's licence and flexible to travel to multiple clinics.
* Working with Children's Check or willingness to obtain one.
* Australian citizen or permanent resident, or New Zealand citizen, or valid visa with permission to work.

* Evidence of vaccine‐preventable diseases such as Hepatitis B is a requirement.
