Our Contaminated Land Management (CLM) team proactively work with clients to provide pragmatic contamination advice and achieve practical and efficient outcomes. Our team offers a unique blend of technical expertise which spans ‘whole-of project' needs, strategic and regulatory relations experience to deliver, scientific, technically robust and risk-based solutions for our clients.
An exciting opportunity has arisen within our CLM team for an experienced Contaminated Land consultant to join our team based in our Sydney or Newcastle office.

* With a strong pipeline of projects, you’ll have the opportunity to make an immediate impact, whilst also leveraging internal and external networks to continue to identify opportunities.
* You will provide senior level technical advice and guidance to clients and team members to ensure projects are delivered within the agreed scope.
* Your big picture thinking will allow you to effectively identify and plan for future needs, consulting with clients to address their future requirements.
* Provide technical peer review of EMM workflows, proposals and draft reports, with emphasis on contentious and/or complex problems and projects.
* You can count on the support you need to deliver exceptional quality with specialist teams across EMM and leaders who are truly present and excited to help you deliver.
* You’ll have the autonomy, flexibility and support you need to balance all aspects of your life.
Here’s what you’ll bring to have impact:
* Ideally you bring 20 plus years industry experience in Contaminated Land Management.
* You are a technical leader in the market, with a well-established network in NSW.
* Degree in a relevant field such as Environmental Science or Engineering.
* Experienced in the delivery of projects across infrastructure, asset transition and mining.
* A strong scientific or engineering background in contaminated land and understanding of scientific and engineering principles.
* Strong mentoring and leadership skills, with a passion for developing others.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with clients, team members, and regulators.
* A track record of delivering high-quality work and achieving project objectives.
* Respect – you listen and understand other’s views and work together to create opportunities for all.
* Integrity - you do what is right for your stakeholders to deliver what is true as opposed to popular.
* Humility - you understand the strength of humility and that no one is bigger than the team.
