**Who are we looking for?**
Queensland University of Technology (QUT) is seeking a International Recruitment Officer, South Asia, Middle East and Africa to join International, International Portfolio, Chancellery Division.
Within the International portfolio, the International Recruitment Officer assists team members with marketing, recruitment, business and partnership development activities.

**About the Chancellery Division**
Chancellery Division is responsible for strategy, including Indigenous strategy, government relations and policy, assurance and risk, international, marketing and communications, and business development. The Chancellery Division is led by the Vice-Chancellor and President.
**About the International and External Relations Portfolio**
The International and External Relations (IER) Portfolio leads QUT's engagement with international and governmental partners and stakeholders through strategy development and the provision of operational advice to faculties and the wider QUT community. The portfolio also conducts marketing, research, promotions and digital communications activities for the purposes of domestic and international student recruitment and, through the Marketing and Communication office, disseminates key information to the university's staff and students.
**About International**
International leads QUT's international engagement, by strengthening QUT's real world positioning in teaching and research, and seeking and servicing international, local and internal partnerships. The office also conducts appropriate marketing, research, promotions, and communications activities, working with all faculties and divisions to continue to grow international student numbers at both undergraduate and postgraduate level.
**What you need to succeed**
Your expertise and initiative, combined with your ability to work as an excellent team player will be vital to your success in this role.
You will demonstrate:
- Education, training and/or experience equivalent to the completion of a tertiary degree in business, marketing or international business and extensive relevant administrative experience in the context of international student recruitment.
- Demonstrated high-level written communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to clearly present, advise and liaise with internal and external stakeholders in a professional and culturally sensitive manner.
- Evidence of excellent organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to manage time with competing high-volume tasks.
- Demonstrated experience in student recruitment activities including admissions is highly regarded.
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge of GTE, compliance, ESOS Act and other university and government policies, procedures including the Australian regulatory framework requirements for international student recruitment and admissions.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate positively and work efficiently in a team environment, to ensure that a high level of client service is maintained.
