The Opportunity
The International Admissions Officer is responsible for the end-to-end process involving administration and processing of applications for admission from international students into TAFE SA courses. The role includes assessment and processing of applications, offers and acceptances from international students for entry to preparatory English and award courses at TAFESA.
What We're Looking For
* Proven ability to work under general direction, both independently and co-operatively in a team environment, resolve issues within a day-to-day environment for which there may not be clearly established procedures and successfully managing multiple competing priorities in an effective and efficient manner.
* Sound knowledge and experience in all aspects of standard office productivity software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
* General understanding of international education in Australia and international student application processes, visa conditions, and OSHC health insurance, etc. This includes the ability to exercise initiative in the application of established practices or procedures and ensure a high attention to detail in the provision of data, information and front and back office services.
What You Need to Know
A valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) issued by the South Australian Department of Human Services is required before employment.
