Ryde Community Mental Health Centre
Ryde Hospital is having an incredible $479 million complete hospital redevelopment that will transform the delivery of healthcare for the Ryde local community. The Ryde Hospital Redevelopment will result in new health facilities and enhanced services including emergency, ICU/critical care, inpatient units, outpatient/ambulatory care services and much more. Construction commenced in early 2023, and will provide you with a wonderful and exciting opportunity to be part of the Ryde team to change the future health services for the Ryde Community completely.
What You'll Be Doing
The Team Leader will lead the multi-disciplinary team (MDT) in the provision of recovery oriented, trauma informed care that is guided by evidence based practice, collaboration with others and ongoing quality improvement.
People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.
Candidates Will Need To Meet The Following Criteria
* AHPRA Registration in Nursing, Occupational Therapy or Psychology, or eligibility for membership with AASW for Social Workers. Psychologist is required to hold a Master Degree. Current NSW driver's license. Relevant management tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent work experience. Allied Health positions require minimum experience as a Level 2 clinician.
* Demonstrated ability to lead, manage and support a clinical team.
* Extensive experience in and commitment to the management and treatment of consumers with significant mental health issues and disabilities in a community setting including experience in the application of the Mental Health Act and other relevant legislation.
* Demonstrated experience in leading change in the context of service improvement.
