As a Podiatrist, you will conduct comprehensive assessments, implement effective treatment plans, and deliver exceptional patient education.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform thorough assessments of patients' foot health, including biomechanical evaluations and gait analysis
* Develop individualized treatment plans based on evidence‐based practices and patient needs
* Perform various procedures including nail care, callus removal, and wound care management
* Offer advice on proper footwear, orthotics, and rehabilitation exercises
* Maintain detailed patient records and ensure compliance with clinical protocols
* Engage in patient education and community outreach regarding foot health awareness
Requirements
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Podiatry from an accredited institution
* Registration with the Podiatry Board of Australia
* Previous clinical experience in podiatric practice is preferred but not essential
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction
* A commitment to lifelong learning and keeping current with advances in podiatric care
