About the role
We're looking for a Multimedia Designer to join 2045 – an independent, fast-growing creative agency that blends big thinking with smart use of AI and technology. Salary expectations $80,000.
You'll concept, design and produce beautiful, effective work across digital, social, motion, film, experiential and everything in between. From pitch decks to campaigns, from storyboards to social edits, you'll help bring ideas to life in a way that's visually world-class and commercially sharp.
You'll sit at the heart of a cross-functional team (strategy, creative, production, business management), working closely with Art Directors, Copywriters, Producers and Editors to deliverwork that's creatively brave, on-brand and on-budget.
What you'll be doing
* Designing integrated creative assets across digital, social, film, OOH, experiential and presentations
* Creating motion and video content – simple animations, cut-downs, social edits, supers, titles, overlays
* Developing storyboards, scamps and design explorations that help sell in ideas to clients
* Translating concepts and scripts into polished, on-brand visual outputs
* Working with Producers to scope and deliver assets on time and within budget
* Collaborating with creatives to refine and iterate work based on feedback and performance
* Using AI-enabled tools (where appropriate) to work smarter, not just harder
* Maintaining high standards of file management, version control and handover for internal and external partners
* Championing our visual standards in pitches, creds and internal comms
About you
* You're a hands-on designer who can move comfortably between static, motion and screen design – and you're hungry to keep learning
You'll likely have:
* 3–5 years' experience as a Multi-Media Designer / Motion Designer / Digital Designer in an agency, studio or in-house team
* A folio that shows strong design craft, good taste, and an understanding of modern brands and platforms
* Solid skills across Adobe Creative Cloud (After Effects / Premiere / Photoshop / Illustrator / InDesign)
* Experience creating social content, digital display, video cut-downs and presentation design
* A strong eye for typography, layout, colour and composition
* Comfort working from a brief and also helping to shape it when needed
* A collaborative, low-ego way of working – you like sharing, listening and building on others' ideas
* A curiosity about AI tools and new technology and how they can supercharge your craft
* Strong organisational skills – you can juggle multiple projects without dropping the detail
