Aspire Finishes Painting and Decorating is seeking an experienced Painter to join our team in Perth, WA. As a Painter, you will be responsible for providing high-quality painting and decorating services to our diverse range of residential and commercial clients. What you'll be doing
* Preparing and priming surfaces for painting, including walls, ceilings, and woodwork
* Applying a variety of paints, varnishes, and other finishing products to achieve the desired look and finish
* Ensuring a neat and tidy work area, and cleaning up after completing each job
* Communicating effectively with clients to understand their requirements and provide updates on project progress
* Collaborating with the team to ensure efficient and coordinated project delivery
* Maintaining a high standard of work and attention to detail
What we're looking for
* A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Trade qualified Painter, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality work
* Must have experience working in both residential and commercial painting environments
* Candidates should have balanced experience across both residential and commercial painting projects, with either type of work being equally acceptable
* Strong knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and equipment
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
* Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to safety
* Good communication and customer service skills
* A valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation
* Current White Card (Construction Induction Card)
* Certificate III in Painting and Decorating or equivalent trade qualification
* We welcome applications from candidates with Certificate III in Painting and Decorating or any equivalent trade qualifications in the painting field
* Specifically requires Certificate III in Painting and Decorating certification only
* Must have Australian work rights
