Your Next Role
Our Electricians play a pivotal role at keeping our site up and running. No two days are the same as you and your team conduct preventative maintenance and support on various projects. We require the following from our Electricians as part of their day-to-day duties.
- All of our people go home in the same condition that they came to work, safety before production every time.
- Carry out preventative and corrective scheduled work as per weekly or outage schedule.
- Provide support for operations to prevent functional failure and actively seek ways to improve plant reliability and functional performance.
- Provide support to Automation Engineers/Technicians when required.
- Provide appropriate feedback and follow up on completion of jobs.
- Actively participate in the training of apprentices and tradespeople.
- All tasks are performed to the defined standard and our quality, environmental, legislative and regulatory requirements are compliant
Shifts
You will rotate between the following shifts:
- Week 1 - Monday - Thursday - 5:00am - 1:00pm and Friday - 5:00am- 1:30pm
- Week 2 - Monday - Thursday - 10:00am - 6:00pm and Friday - 5:00am - 1:30pm
Maryborough
You will be based at our Glulam plant in Maryborough West, located in the beautiful Fraser Coast region. This coastal town offers affordable living and is proudly home to Queensland’s greatest icons including K\'Gari.
About you
- Electrical trade qualification.
- Demonstrated experience in Instrumentation Systems and Control.
- Ability to undertake and lead in PLC programming and fault-finding (Allen Bradley, Siemens a distinct advantage), and AC drives and associated systems skills.
- Demonstrated experience in technical service delivery, planning and customer relations, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Experience in lean manufacturing is beneficial, particularly problem-solving methodologies.
- Experience using Pronto as a CMMS system advantageous.
- Advantageous licenses: Forklift, EWP, Working at Heights and First Aid Certificate (or ability to acquire).
