The Role
Reporting to the Project Manager / Authorised Delegate and working under the direction of the Site Supervisor, you'll carry out day-to-day concreting and labouring tasks in the field in line with project goals, safety requirements and quality expectations.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and install concrete: mix, pour, spread, smooth and finish
* Complete general civil/labour tasks such as digging, spotting for plant, and assisting crews
* Operate vehicles and plant/equipment as required (where competent/licenced)
* Perform routine/unplanned maintenance and manual labour as required
* Participate in frontline SHEQ activities (pre-starts, toolboxes, inspections) and report hazards/near misses/incidents
* Follow SWMS/JHAs and site procedures; work efficiently to deadlines while maintaining quality
What You'll Bring (Essential)
* Demonstrated strong safety record and WHS awareness
* White Card (Construction Induction)
* C Class Driver's Licence
* First Aid + CPR (current)
* National Police Check (current or able to obtain)
* Experience using power tools; strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
* Physical fitness for manual labour and working outdoors
* Basic computer skills and ability to work independently and as part of a crew
* Willingness to travel to other depots/worksites as required
Desirable
* 1–2 years' experience in utilities and/or construction/resources environments
* HR driver licence
* High-risk tickets (as relevant): Forklift, EWP, Crane (VOC/tickets)
* Working at Heights
