About this opportunity, the University of Tasmania seeks experienced academics to fill Associate Lecturer positions in Police Studies. These roles will be part of a new school specialising in Emergency Care, Law Enforcement and Police Studies, and Emergency Management.
Key Responsibilities
* Undertake undergraduate coursework teaching of high quality and foster collaborations across local and national networks.
* Contribute to research activities, help secure external funding, supervise Higher Degree by Research students, and participate in professional activities aligned with the discipline.
You will have opportunities to undertake high-quality research, teach a range of subjects, including Law, Psychology, or Cyber Crime / Security, with pre-mapped teaching responsibilities.
Two positions are available with part-time hours to be negotiated. We welcome applications from specialists who can hit the ground running. Hobart is our preferred location, but Launceston and Burnie campuses will also be considered.
