Job Title: Pharmaceutical Assembly Technician
About the Role:
The Production Operative will join our team to work in the Pharmacy Production Service. They will be responsible for the assembly and disinfection of pharmaceutical starting materials, as well as the manufacture of sterile and non-sterile products.
* Assembly and disinfection of pharmaceutical starting materials
* Manufacture of sterile and non-sterile products
* Monitoring and preparation of facilities
* Stock management
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, applicants must have GCSEs (minimum Grade 4 or equivalent) in English Language and mathematics. They should also have previous hospital or production experience and good manual dexterity.
* Qualifications: GCSE (Min. Grade 4 or equivalent) in Mathematics and English Language, Must undertake and complete a GPhC approved level 2 qualification specific to the role
* Knowledge: Knowledge of a range of pharmacy working practices, Aware of the importance of Health and Safety and hygiene in the work place
* Experience: Previous hospital or production experience, Experience of working in a clean room environment
* Skills: Good oral communication, Excellent customer care, Ability to demonstrate good manual dexterity, Ability to prioritise, Willing and able to follow written procedures
