A exciting opportunity has opened for a full-time Motion Graphic Designer to join the Airnorth Darwin team.
Collaborating with the Commercial team, you will specialise in the creation of Graphics and Special Effects that promote Airnorth's key destinations throughout Australia and beyond, building brand awareness and connecting with our customer and stakeholder base. Our Commercial team consists of 15, all who bring a set of unique skills, experience, and talents. This diversity of talent across all areas lends itself to extensive collaboration that help our customers discover a new destination or rediscover an old favourite. Individuals are encouraged to nurture and share their unique talents and skills, while constantly growing and learning from others.
As a Graphics and Motion Designer you will be involved in all stages of the design process; from working with various stakeholders (internal and external), attending briefs, brainstorming ideas, and pre planning shoots, through to producing the final output. Assets are across TV, radio, print, DOOH, social media and digital.
We are looking for someone who has:
Previous motion design experience.
Advanced knowledge of design programs such as After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
Working knowledge of video formats and file formats.
The ability to work enthusiastically, respectfully, and collaboratively within the Commercial department, and with key stakeholders.
Advanced knowledge with WordPress
Excellent problem-solving abilities who can quickly deliver high-quality work under extremely tight timelines
Strong attention to detail
Must be able to use Apple Mac
Strong Web experience – eDM's, web banners, html5, WordPress
Advanced user of the Microsoft Office Suite – Word/Excel/PowerPoint
Knowledge in advertising processes
Strong 2D/3D animation skills
Experience in social media and online campaigns
High competency with video editing animation
Familiarity with using digital camera equipment for stills and footage/audio capture
Qualifications
Extensive experience, in Motion Design
The ability to produce mock-ups to communicate design ideas and concepts
The ability to manage project timelines and effectively communicate regularly with key management and production staff
Strong skills in 3d, Design, Animation, Typography
Expert capability in Adobe After Effects
Relevant Tertiary qualifications such as a Degree in Visual Art / Design or equivalent
