With their exponential growth, they are excited to bring a Senior Consultant – Taxation Services that can provide great value and expert advice for a portfolio of high-profile clients.The Role The Senior Consultant will be a trusted advisor in a range of accounting, taxation, and business subjects. Working within a dynamic and collaborative team, this role is perfect for someone who wants to continue working or transition to a tax specialist role.You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse client portfolio with clients ranging from some of the largest private groups in Australia to small-cap ASX listed companies.Key ResponsibilitiesConsulting to various Divisions of the practice re taxation issues e.g. client re-structures, tax planning assistance, tax strategies, etc.Drafting of technical advice on income tax and capital gains tax issuesResearching tax issues as well as developing materials to be presented internally and externallyEnsure completion of statutory compliance work, which may include:Completion and review of all financial statementsCompletion and review of income tax returnsCompletion of Activity StatementsCompletion of FBT returnsReview any final work allocated to the accountants and graduates as requiredSkills and ExperienceCA / CPA Qualified – minimum 3 years in a similar roleTertiary qualified in commerce, accounting or equivalentAbility to work in a fast-paced and deadline driven environmentBe highly committed and have a strong work ethicExceptional attention to detail and building strong relationshipsDemonstrated experience in software such as: Xero, MYOB, Quickbooks, Excel, MS OfficeCulture Our client is regarded as a leading firm of accountants that takes pride in their people's success.
