For senior engineers currently navigating the consultancy grind, this role offers the ultimate escape from business development targets, revenue management and billable timesheets. Instead of pitching for work, you'll step into a 'Technical Authority' seat, directly owning the engineering roadmap for a massive 300MW+ APAC hyperscale rollout.

What you'll do You'll lead the mechanical engineering strategy for hyperscale data centre projects, ensuring the delivery of industry-leading facilities. You'll drive "Speed, Scale, Sustainability, and improved ROIC" across AI Liquid-to-chip, mechanical, fire, hydraulic, and controls engineering.
This will cover the full lifecycle from feasibility, design review, and consultant management through to construction, commissioning, and building tuning.
What You'll Need
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Fire, or Hydraulic Engineering (Chartered Professional Engineer / RPEQ highly desirable).
3-5 years minimum experience in mission-critical data centre design.
Deep technical expertise in AI Liquid-to-Chip cooling and high-density mechanical systems.
Proven experience producing and reviewing fully coordinated Revit-MEP models, energy models, and cost analyses.
A highly technical "out-and-out engineer" profile - someone who loves the engineering details rather than pure commercial/BD management.
Strong ability to communicate complex design principles to both internal stakeholders and major cloud clients (e.g., AWS, Microsoft).
