About The Opportunity
The role of a Wellbeing Support Worker is to assist individuals in managing their mental health symptoms, developing life skills for independent living and self-care, engaging in community life, accessing necessary health services, and working towards recovery.
Under the guidance of the Psychosocial & Wellbeing Services Team Leader, the successful candidate will be responsible for building professional relationships with participants, developing collaborative care plans, providing direct support to attain identified goals, ensuring operational requirements are met, and coordinating case planning meetings.
* Main Responsibilities:
* Engage participants and establish trusting relationships
* Develop care and support plans incorporating individual goals, focusing on skill and knowledge development
* Provide direct practical support to attain identified goals
* Ensure all operational and administrative requirements are met
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will require relevant qualifications and experience in the Community Services sector. This may include a degree, diploma, or equivalent qualification, along with substantial years of relevant experience.

* Demonstrated competency in risk management and previous experience in a mental health setting or equivalent role
