We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Workshop Technician to join our organisation. As a key member, you will be responsible for working within our warehouse and primarily with our VitalCall business unit.
About the Role
* Manage daily production activities, including testing and refurbishment of VitalCall products.
* Oversee stock control, including ordering consumables and maintaining stock levels for service needs.
* Contribute to efficient workplace procedures to optimised productivity.
* Liaise regularly with the warehouse team and other supervisors regarding stock and production needs.
* Complete internal invoicing, purchase ordering, and maintain associated documentation.
* Maintain production registers and all required paperwork accurately and on time.
* Uphold workplace health and safety standards.
About You
* Previous experience in a workshop or production environment is essential.
* Familiarity with fire and security protection equipment servicing is highly desirable but not essential (training will be provided).
* Excellent communication and coordination skills are required.
* Able to manage stock control processes effectively.
* Competent with internal invoicing, purchase ordering, and general administration.
* A strong focus on quality, safety, and efficiency is necessary.
* Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident is preferred.
This is a hands-on role — applicants must be willing to actively participate in workshop tasks as needed. On-the-job training will be provided to ensure a clear understanding of compliance and workplace expectations.
