We are seeking an experienced Technology Operations and Information Security Leader to drive strategic growth, digital transformation, and operational efficiency.

The role requires a strong vision for technology operations, infrastructure, service delivery, and cybersecurity. As the leader, you will develop and execute a technology roadmap that supports our business goals, while ensuring the reliability, scalability, and resilience of our systems.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Lead Technology Strategy: Develop a comprehensive technology strategy that aligns with our business objectives, focusing on innovation, efficiency, and risk management.
* Drive Service Excellence: Oversee IT service management, including incident response, service desk operations, and user experience improvements across all sites.
* Ensure Infrastructure Reliability: Manage the performance, scalability, and resilience of cloud and on-premises systems, ensuring seamless integration and minimal downtime.
* Champion Cybersecurity: Lead cyber operations, including threat detection, incident response, and compliance with industry standards.
* Govern Risk and Compliance: Maintain IT risk registers, ensure compliance with data privacy regulations, and oversee audits and certification programs.
* Oversee Network and Workplace Technology: Ensure secure, high-performing connectivity across offices, labs, and distribution centers.
* Lead and Develop Teams: Build a high-performing, collaborative operations team with clear career pathways and a culture of accountability.
* Vendor and Budget Management: Manage vendor relationships, optimize licensing, and oversee operational IT budgets.
* Enable Business Growth: Support M&A, new site integration, and digital product rollouts with scalable, secure technology solutions.
* Drive Innovation and Sustainability: Champion continuous improvement, explore opportunities to enhance energy efficiency, and support ESG initiatives.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you must have:
* Proven leadership in technology operations, infrastructure, service delivery, and cybersecurity in a mid-to-large organization.
* Deep technical expertise across Microsoft 365 and Azure, cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), enterprise networks (WAN/LAN/SD-WAN), and ITIL-based service management.
* Strong cybersecurity knowledge, including threat detection, incident response, SOC management, and compliance with NIST and ISO27001 frameworks.
* Exceptional people leadership, with experience building and managing high-performing, cross-functional technology teams.
* Commercial acumen, with skills in vendor and budget management, contract negotiation, and license optimization.
* Effective communication, able to translate complex technical concepts into business value for executive stakeholders.
* Industry experience in pharmaceuticals, health, or FMCG.
* Exposure to regulated environments (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR, TGA).
* Experience supporting international operations and/or M&A technology integration.
* Knowledge of automation, AI, and sustainability practices in IT.
* Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
* Certifications in Microsoft Azure, ITIL, CISSP/CISM, or NIST/ISO27001 frameworks.
