About the role:
Cater Care seeks to appoint a Casual Catering Assistant at one of our key aged care residences in Masonic Care in Middle Swan. It is a modern, well-maintained 124-bed facility with ample staff parking and access to public transport, close to Midland Gate shopping centre. The role involves serving meals to residents, cleaning dining rooms, and assisting Chefs with basic food preparation.
Roster: 7:00am - 3:00pm or 2:00pm - 8:00pm shifts across various days of the week

What this role involves:
* Assisting with food preparation
* Customer service - serving our residents meals and snacks
* Re-stocking as required, and after meal periods
* Dishwashing and cleaning kitchen & dining areas
* Maintaining food hygiene and safety practices
* Fast, effective service throughout busy periods - with a good attitude
* Prepare and present texture modified foods
Desired Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate will have:
* Experience assisting in kitchens, food preparation and/or customer service
* Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
* Pride in personal appearance & hygiene
* Previous experience in aged care (preferred but not essential)
