The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager for the Wales Queensland area!
The Business Development Manager identifies, develops and manages new business opportunities. They will attend accident sites to drive opportunities into local sites and work closely with the National Business Development Manager and Centre Managers, to identify market trends and to develop strategies that expand the Heavy Motor market presence.
Role responsibilities
* Generate leads through various channels, including cold calls, networking, and industry events.
* Liaise with stakeholders, attend accident sites and maintain workflow between Brisbane and Townsville.
* Establish working relationships with the Heavy Towing industry in order to drive prospective works inwards
* Build a pipeline of potential clients and opportunities.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while developing new ones.
* Understand clients' needs and provide solutions that align with the company's services.
* Maintain constant contact with Centre Managers to maximise leads and client expansion within the industry. Work with Centre Managers and devise ways to best serve their clients.
* Develop and adhere to a territory call plan. Call plan must include frequency rate of all customers with strong focus on their requirements.

* Strong Account Management experience within the Heavy Vehicle Industry
* Exceptional knowledge of the industry and technical requirements to support operational improvements.
* Highly developed problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
* Ability to work autonomously.
* Strong in areas of initiative, planning/organisation, time management, customer satisfaction and self -motivation.
