About the Company
Our client is a leading engineering company with a high presence in the Bulk Material Handling space. With growing success in Australia’s mining industry, they’re now expanding their EPC and process delivery capability – creating a senior position to lead design, estimating, and project execution across upcoming mining developments.
The Role
The Senior Project Manager / Lead Engineer will drive the development and delivery of end-to-end processing projects – from initial sales and estimating through to full project execution.
This role suits a technically strong leader who can confidently engage with senior mining executives, EPC partners, and engineering teams. You’ll combine deep process knowledge with commercial acumen to lead design, coordinate partners, and deliver results.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and lead process and plant designs across crushing, screening, conveying, and train loadout (TLO) systems
- Manage estimating, tendering, and proposal development for new project opportunities
- Engage directly with senior management of mining clients and subcontract partners
- Oversee engineering coordination and project delivery, ensuring quality, cost, and schedule targets are achieved
- Provide technical direction and design leadership across the full project lifecycle
- Support business development and EPC growth in collaboration with the Australian leadership team
To Succeed, You’ll Bring
- Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Process, or related discipline)
- 10+ years’ experience in mining, process plant design, and EPC project delivery
- Proven capability to lead design and estimation for complex process systems
- Strong technical understanding from crushing through to TLO
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills at senior level
- Commercial awareness and the ability to move seamlessly between technical and business discussions
