They are a pioneer in the construction industry and work on large projects across Government, Education, Infrastructure and Housing. Our client is looking for an administrator to assist the Health and Safety team for a 6 to 8 week contract. With no previous experience in Health and Safety required and a large amount of support and training provided, this is an excellent opportunity for a candidate looking to expand their knowledge and upskill in a new field. The Role Your duties in the role will include but not be limited to: Maintaining and updating safety records and documentation e.g. Inductions, pre-starts, SWMS, training records Coordinating and delivering induction training Safety walks in the factory SWMS compliance e.g. ensuring workers are signed on Providing a visual safety presence Any administrative safety tasks as required Please note, training and support on the above tasks will be provided. About you To be successful in this role, you will: Ability to work independently while contributing effectively in a team environment. Strong personal judgment to manage sensitive and specialised work. Proven statistical and administrative skills. Highly developed problem-solving abilities with a willingness to learn Accurate record-keeping and advanced computer skills, with high attention to detail Be a proactive individual Have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Any experience in workplace safety is a bonus What's on offer?
