An opportunity has now become available for a Senior Bookkeeper to join their collaborative finance team, based in Brisbane.
The Role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role offers genuine variety and ownership across multiple entities. You'll take responsibility for daily accounting operations — including reconciliations, BAS, and payment processing - while contributing to broader process improvement initiatives.
This position suits someone who enjoys working in a dynamic, growing environment and values autonomy, teamwork, and accuracy.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Managing reconciliations, journals, and BAS across a portfolio of entities
* Overseeing cashflow and payment runs
* Assisting with month-end reporting and compliance
* Supporting system and process enhancements
* Building strong understanding of business operations across divisions
* Partnering closely with senior finance leaders on group-wide initiatives
About You
You're an experienced bookkeeper or assistant accountant with a solid grounding in reconciliations, BAS, and financial operations. You enjoy variety, take pride in accuracy, and are motivated by continuous improvement.
You'll bring:
* Strong bookkeeping or accounting experience, ideally across multi-entity structuresXero experience and strong Excel capability
* Excellent attention to detail and time management
* A proactive, inquisitive mindset and team-oriented approach
